Em Witcutt: Em also completed her undergraduate degree in Zoology at Newcastle University in the UK, then continued on to finish her Masters in Biodiversity, Conservation and Ecosystem Management. She too began her work with seabirds on the Farne Islands, before moving on to carry out biological research in Sierra Leone and Ireland. She feels privileged to be one of the lucky few with the opportunity to spend a year on Gough, and is looking forward to learning about so many new seabird species.
